Summer19 is a ten-week employment & mentor-ship program for youth ages 16-24 in Washtenaw County. It provides employment opportunities and on-the-job training within businesses and organizations throughout Washtenaw County. Youth with a high school degree, GED, or equivalent will receive $12 per hour and youth without a high school degree, GED, or equivalent will receive $10 per hour.

Youth Commit To:

      • Ten hours of Soft Skills session
      • Match Day
      • Mid-Summer Celebration

      • Enrichment sessions
  • Working 20 hours per week over the 10 week employment period
  • Building working relationships with supervisors and program staff throughout the duration of the summer.

Kudos to Pioneer’s very own Eve Claar.

She has been selected as the Region Six Athletic Director of the Year for her outstanding service in the world of Educational Athletics!  Ms. Claar will be recognized and receive this award at the MIAAA annual conference next month.
