We still need help! Plans for the 2019 party are in full swing. We will be contacting volunteers to sign up to help with decorating and staffing the party later in the year. We are also looking for a few people who would be interested in chairing a committee for the 2020 party. If you step in now, you can shadow the current chair for a full year before taking the lead next year. We need leaders for Vendor Contracts, Food & Beverage, and Casino Management. Contact Susan Brimacombe at [email protected] for more information.

PTO Thrift Shop

Our weeks for the Show Your Support fundraiser are just around the corner! Here’s how it works: The schools participating will compete for a share of $1500. For each $5 purchase, a shopper receives one token to drop into a bucket. Schools will receive a percentage of the $1500 based on the number of tokens in their bucket. Families can also purchase shapes ($1 Stars, $2 Apples, and $5 Buses) to support their school’s PTO! 100% of shape sales go to the PTO chosen. Please support the PTO Thrift Shop and our PTO during our designated weeks:

January 20-January 26

and

January 27- February 2

To learn more, contact our PTO Thrift Shop rep, Andrienne Syme at [email protected].

Are You Enrolled in the Grocery Programs? Sign Up Now!

The Pioneer PTSO Grocery Store Program provides a significant funding source for the Senior Bon Voyage Graduation Party that we sponsor every spring.
Participating stores donate a percentage of the sales from Pioneer families to the PTSO, and we would like to increase the number of participating families this year to help ensure the party is available to future graduating seniors.

Grocery Program of the Week:  Kroger
You will need to link your Kroger Plus Card to the Community Rewards Program online. Need a Plus Card? They are available at any Kroger Customer Service Desk.

Create an online account by going to www.kroger.com or download the Kroger Mobile App from the App Store or Google Play, and follow these directions:

  1. Select the “Register” button.
  2. Enter your information.
  3. Select “Create Account.”

Please make sure that you add your Plus Card number while registering your digital account. This is required for the Community Rewards program so that your transactions apply toward the organization you choose.

   4.      Select “Community Rewards” in the “Community” tab.

   5.      Follow the instructions to select “Pioneer High School PTSO/ASAN, ID# 82622  as the organization you wish to support and click “Save.”
Your selected organization will now display in the Community Rewards section of your account. Each time you shop at Kroger, be sure to swipe your Plus Card at checkout. You will need to re-register your card every spring.

Thank you for supporting the Grocery Program and the Senior Bon Voyage Party!
